Resignation of Jaqueline Hussein – Non-Executive Director

The Board of Directors of Simbisa Brands Limited wishes to announce that Mrs. Jaqueline Hussein will be stepping down from her position as a Non-Executive Director of the Company effective 30 June 2025.

Mrs. Hussein joined the Board in January 2021. She served as a member of the Audit and Risk Committee. The Board extends its sincere gratitude to Mrs. Hussein for her service, counsel and contributions over the years and wishes her the very best in her future endeavours.

Appointment of Thembiwe Chikosi Mazingi – Non-Executive Director

The Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Thembiwe Chikosi Mazingi as a Non-Executive Director of the Company with effect from 1 July 2025.

Mrs Mazingi is a seasoned legal practitioner with over four decades of experience and currently serves as Senior Partner at Coghlan, Welsh & Guest. She has extensive expertise in corporate law, taxation, property and conveyancing, and regulatory compliance. She holds an LLB, BL, and MBA from the University of Zimbabwe, and has pursued specialist qualifications in advanced taxation and international tax law.

She currently serves on the boards of Axia Corporation Limited, African Century Limited, and Proplastics Limited. In addition, she is a member of the Law Society of Zimbabwe, the International Bar Association, and the International Fiscal Association.

The Board welcomes Mrs Mazingi and looks forward to her contribution to the Company’s governance and strategic oversight.
