Thembiwe is a seasoned legal practitioner with over four decades of experience and currently serves as Senior Partner at Coghlan, Welsh & Guest. She has extensive expertise in corporate law, taxation, property and conveyancing, and regulatory compliance. She holds an LLB, BL, and MBA from the University of Zimbabwe, and has pursued specialist qualifications in advanced taxation and international tax law.

She currently serves on the boards of Axia Corporation Limited, African Century Limited, and Proplastics Limited. In addition, she is a member of the Law Society of Zimbabwe, the International Bar Association, and the International Fiscal Association.
